Got funded on kickstarter + what's next

Posted by LiLg - July 13th, 2012

There is still an hour left to donate to this project.
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1878730846/r eincarnation-the-root-of-all-evil

My Reincarnation project got funded at kickstarter.com. The goal was to raise $15k and so far we have gotten up to almost 19k. I'm really thrilled about reaching the goal, but my team and I have a lot of work ahead of us. We've been working all throughout the time the kickstarter was running and before that. However, it's time to really buckle down and start pushing out this baby fetus...

If you missed the deadline to help out on kickstarter, you can still donate by clicking the link on the KS site that directs you to our Paypal donation area.

That's all for now. I'm going to go celebrate by ordering all the swag I need to give away. Easy come, easy go...

since you made it, I'm gonna cancel my pledge >:(

that seems fair.

Fuck yeah, good news :D I cant wait to see that finished

Congrats with the Kickstarter funding

Congrats!

Congrats

I am trying to become an animator too!

Very hard.

Booya.

Totally deserved it, too. I think a lot of people would have been very disappointed if this had fallen through. Seriously, congrats.

Hopefully you come through on it like the last project. ALOT of shit on kickstarter never actually gets done once people have their money. People think its about rewards, its not. people fund it because they actually expect it to be finished. i dont care about the fucking rewards lol.

RANT. congrats!

To chime in on Luis's rant. I think why a lot of projects don't end up being finished is because anyone can make a project and that allows a lot of amateur artists to get funding for something they under estimated believing they can accomplish it.

Maybe Kickstarter should look into giving half the funding upfront and the rest once it's finished or even doing it quarterly increments. If they don't make the deadlines then they could get some sort of penalty.

Congratulations! For a bit there I was uneasy as to whether or not it might make it there. Seems there might have been a list minute rush. Yay good things being made!!

For your goal, here's someone I found you ought to check out:

Congrats! I'm a really big fan of your work, from Reincarnation to Cellcraft! I even chipped in a pledged the $55 tier to help, though that's only a relatively small amount :/ But then again, it was already funded when I did so, but whatever. It at least helped with the stretch goals.

Super-congrats, sir!

Gz :))))

Cool! Now you just need to finish the game! I'm holding all of my two thumbs for you!

Great news, congratulations. Btw I have always wondered where you got those Demon Dolls made?
