So, for me the year seemed to be very productive.. Although I didn't reach my own goal of making 12 flash games in 12 months, I did finish off 10 highly successful games.
The Year started off with me worrying that I would never finish Reincarnation: LTETR. The project was going to be the third installment in the Reincarnation series, but due to many problem, it just never seemed to muster up the energy to survive. Therefore, I decided to make a mini version of the series and called it Reincarnation: OTSYD. It was released in January as my first game of the year.
I put the reincarnation series to the side for the month of February to release an old school text based game called Score! which was thought up when my friend Casper game in to visit me from Australia for a week in December of 2009. The game did fairly well and Casper and I decided to change pace and try our hand at a beat-em-up side scroller.
March 2010: With little time before St. Patrick's day, we put together a new game called "St. Pattack". It was one of my lowest scoring game submissions of 2010, but I think it's one of the most fun games to play.
April: I was secretly working on several projects during this time which I'll be getting to later on in this.
May: I decided to give Reincarnation another swing and this time I made the mini a little bit longer than the first mini and called it - Reincarnation: AHH
June: Once AHH was done, I was still on a kick to make another part of the ongoing series. Hence, Reincarnation: ITNOE was born.
July: It was now time to release a project that was over one year in the making called CellCraft. In-between projects and whatnot, I'd find time to work on this project part time. It got some internet controversy which quickly died off.
August: I wanted to make this month really big since it was my birthday month. In the beginning of the month I released another Reincarnation called TCOU, but I wasn't done there. I had just found an excellent coder for LTETR and he got the game done for me in less than a month with no problems (a miracle!) This month I also started getting pledges for the Reincarnation doll.
September: A fan asked me (I took it as a challenge) to do a Reincarnation inside of a car. Reincarnation: TBOH
October: It had been 2 years since the first Reincarnation and wanted to celebrate with a Halloween Special - Reincarnation: AHE October also was the month that my goal was met on Kickstarter.com for me to have enough money to pay for the dolls.
November - December: I've worked on 3 different Collab projects. the first one will probably never see the light of day. The second one was ESKIMOS, and the last one was the 24HRC 3 which just ended last night. I'm hoping that's up before the new Year so i can at least have 12 Flashes up in 2010.
