2 releases in one week. woot.

Posted by LiLg - April 28th, 2009

Ok. So this is a first for me. I'm going to be submitting two entries in the same week and I have to say they are both things I'm proud of. As you may or may not know, I released Reincarnation: Riley's Out Again to the portal and it's doing pretty well. Go check it out if you haven't already.

My second submission will be on Thursday, April 30, 2009 (better known as Pico Day). My submission will be called Pico's Popcorn at the Park. Be sure to check it out and leave me reviews if ya have time.

And I guess I'll mention here first that it is official that I'll be going with the voodoo town for Reincarnation 3. However, if the 3rd one is anywhere near as popular as the first two, then I will make a 4th one at the circus (gotta make the circus people happy too).

I got another quest game in the works too. *Teaser picture below.

Sounds good. I am eager to watch your Pico Day submission.

I for one definitely want to see Reincarnation go to the circus.

Sweet! Well hopefully number 3 is well enough liked to make a 4th one about the circus.

the 20 kong logos was kind of annoying.

i know :( But I need to bring in enough ad revenue in to keep up doing these games. It's one of those sell out so i can keep producing kind of things.

I'll be sure to submit something with that same name before you do so that you have to rename it.
Just kidding. Looking forward to it :)

is that you in the teaser pic sure looks like it

Yeah. You get to play as me. It was a school project I started and now I'm turning it into a game for you guys.

Hurray!

I'm not sure if I like these absolutely. I like the tie in with zeebarfs new submissions and I can't shake the feeling that these are partly based on Reaper.

The puzzles could be a bit more accessible. They have a bit the artists-logic syndrome going on. Even though the electromagnet puzzle was believable and worked well it's something that was beyond me until I read a clue as were most of the puzzles.

I'm not sure what zeebarf does to insure his puzzles are a challenge without being beyond the average user.

Similarities aside the Reincarnation series comes in second best (with all others in the running) escape/objective/roll-play puzzle there is and it appears that it will improve greatly in time.

I hear they are canceling reaper :( I do enjoy that show. I'll step up the next one and make you feel it's on the same level as zeebarf's games. I mean He's where i got the idea to turn this comic into a "interactive movie." Who knows. Reincarnation might go from a point anc lick game to a quest game. It really all depends on how I feel.

Tis was a nice game. Quite fun and could be even better if it was longer.
