Have you tried advertising yourself as a game maker for commission? This being an election year especially, it might be a good way to "have a real job" without losing that joy of creation.

I don't mean to be sanctimonious or anything, I don't know shit about making games for a living, but it seems to me that if people can commission art on dead tree format online, you should be able to sell your talents as a game maker.

Now, just as a question from one fellow game maker to another.
Do you think it would help you if I let's played the series for people to see(promote the project at the same time)?
Let me know if you think it would help, it wouldn't do much but at-least it's a push.
