It's my once a week chance to beg for funds for my full length Reincarnation game called Reincarnation: The Root of All Evil.
I've been working day and night on this project ever since I launched it over 30 days ago. It's just showing me how much work goes into these larger games. Especially when they are going to be in HD. You have to make sure every graphic looks good at HD as well as at small graphics since it's no longer in the vector format.
Anyways, if you want to help (and I suggest you do if you are a fan of the series), please pledge here.
For some reason I can't embed the demo video so here it is...
Also, this is another amazing kickstarter that I've backed and so should you!
So far we have hit $4,316 on kickstarter.com. It's looking good. We still need a ton more help so please keep spreading the word about the project as much as you can. If you have any spare change to help, we'd appreciate the help with funds!
We are getting a couple of interviews together for different sites and what not. If you are interested in sending one over to post on your site... Feel free.
I'm still looking for all the help possible at my kickstarter.com campaign. I'm up to $3,191 and still have a ways to go. Please help donate or spread the word about my project.

Just posted a promo video of it on NG: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/596362
For $5 at fiverr.com, I'll draw you into a cartoon!
Also, please help me reach my kickstarter.com fund here!
Ok... enough of me asking for money.
2012 has kicked me in the teeth so many times already that I'll have to get dentures before June. I haven't made a single dime making games, and it was something that I was really enjoying the past couple of years. It seems that flash games aren't getting the same kind of sponsor funding that they use to be over the last two years, and i think that's mostly to the lack of Revenue coming in to these sponsors. It's a shame really. Nothing brings me more joy than to release a Flash to people on newgrounds and other places, but it's hard to survive when no money is coming into the project.
However, I released my new Reincarnation game today without a sponsor backing it. I felt 5 month into the year was long enough without releasing something. It was almost as though I was in a small depression without the aid of the joy I get from releasing something on Newgrounds.
I'm not saying that I'm giving up on the whole sponsorship of games, but I think it's time I start looking for real work to hold me over so I'm not burying myself deeper into a money pit.
Ok enough of being frustrated.... time for the fun stuff...
The reason i released Bloody Bayou today was to promote my Kickstarter.com campaign for a game I've been working on over the past year. I tired to start this campaign last year at this same time but didn't really have anything to show for it and felt it needed some hard work before showing it to the public again. It also motivated me to relaunch the project when double fine and leisure suit Larry hit goals of over $600,000 with games of the same genre. So, if you are feeling generous and would like to see this project in all of it's Evil glory, please fund it here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1878730846/r eincarnation-the-root-of-all-evil
Poster of the project:
Wow! Has it really been like 3 months since my last post? I've been slacking. Not only on news post, but in creating stuff in flash. I have a new Reincarnation game coming out soon (i think!)
I've been busy trying to figure out this full blown Reincarnation game that I'll be releasing on other devices. It's not easy trying to put together a big game by yourself. I've been writing down every idea in a marble notebook and hoping I can one day combine all the ideas to get a full outline. Not an easy task! So kudos to all those indie game designers out there. My hate goes off to you.
Well, I got a few things that isn't flash related.
1: Check out my friends show called The Daily Drive. It's on YouTube at this link: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL560F18FF1 A9CB612&feature=view_all
2: Submitted a t-shirt to threadless.com that could use some helpful votes: http://www.threadless.com/submission/410025/Bein g_the_DD_Sucks
3: Printed some new Demon shirts myself. They can be bought here: http://www.bgroupproductions.com/merchandise.htm l
On Jan. 28-29, I'll have a booth in Artist Alley at the http://www.wizardworldcomiccon.com/ in New Orleans, LA. Come stop by and say hey if you are there!
This will probably be my second to last post before the new year, and i thought I'd recap the year for myself. It's mostly going to be my disappointments with myself and how many things I've released. Last year I was part of 12 flash projects and it just seemed to be a good year all around. However, 2011 was kind of a let down productive wise. I only released 6 projects and had several projects never see the light of day. I'm really hoping I can change that in the new year.
Other than that, I have been working on creating several other projects that aren't flash related. One is a game Casper Smith and I have been working on for about a year for the Android OS. We will hopefully be releasing that in early 2012 and it should be quite a hit. I'm also still working on the extremely large Reincarnation game which will hopefully be going into a more full-time swing in 2012. It's really hard to juggle more than one project at a time, but I think my new years resolution is to keep on myself to finish projects with strict deadlines.
So, yesterday I was trying to release my game onto Newgrounds and It got blammed the first time. I'm guessing this was due to the fact that it was having a white screen show up for some of you at the beginning of the game before it actually got to the loading screen. This was due to the game trying to load all the sound files before anything else. As we were trying to fixed the problem, it got blammed. Then I tried to re-release it under the same name and that too got blammed.
I thought the players were just still getting upset with the loading problem, but we had fixed it. I think what happened was that by giving it the same name as a previously blammed entry; it too was auto blammed by the system.
This was the last one that got blammed:
At the time of removal, your submission had accumulated a score of 2.32/5.00, with 200 votes being cast.
According to the NG FAQ:
Movies are deleted if they fall below the listed score at the listed number of votes:
100 votes: 1.0
150 votes: 1.25
200 votes: 1.60
Therefore it was way pass what it needed to pass the approval. So, just be careful if you do get blammed not to resubmit under the same name. It's VERY stressful!
Anywho, if you would like to play Reincarnation: TFHH, do so here!
So, I entered a new invention to quirky. It's a fun hobby.
Will hopefully have a new Reincarnation out soon.
Need to get to work on the NG calendar.
